Shankill Castle is a unique family home in Ireland’s Ancient East often described as a living museum. The castle was originally built as a Butler tower house and replaced with a Queen Anne castellated house in 1708. Now lived in by the Cope family, they display their eclectic and interesting collection of antiques and objet d’art. The guided tour relays the layers of culture that reflects local and national history from 11thC right up to the present day. This ticket includes garden access. The tour starts at 3pm.
