Shankill Castle Christmas Gift Fair 3rd and 4th December 2011
On Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th of December Shankill Castle will be hosting a Christmas Fair where you can find gift for your loved ones, listen to a few carols, and sip mulled apple juice while wandering the wintery castle gardens and visiting the donkeys.
The Fair takes place in the castle’s main reception rooms where there will be luxury gift items, crafts, stocking-fillers, gift vouchers and hampers for sale.
You also can purchase fresh produce, firewood, books, vintage clothes and much more.
Also you will have the chance to invest in art this Christmas. Elizabeth Cope will have on show a series of animal etchings. Her paintings will also be exhibited throughout the house.
There will be a children’s workshops on each morning of the weekend. It is a Christmas tree decoration making workshop. Kids can be getting crafty while parents enjoy the stalls and art work in the castle. The Workshop is at 11am on Saturday and Sunday and is €10.
Entry to the Gift Fair is free and there is abundant parking too.
